1981-The adventure began.
1982- We started
to record wildlife using Nagra and Marantz tape recorders along with Sennheiser
microphones.
Although the Nagra recording machine was an analog recorder, the master
recordings were the equivalent of today's 24 bit resolution recorders.
1984-The
first company to document the importance of using specie specific vocalizations
to attract wildlife.
1988-The
first in this industry to quantify coyote and most other wildlife
vocalizations.
1991-Wildlife
Technologies
designed and built a remote control tape based sound system.
1993-Purchased
a Nagra-D digital 24 bit recorder along with new Sennheiser microphones.
1995-Designed and developed a solid state remote controlled audio player. We
were the first company in this industry to research and design a solid state,
all digital, CD quality wildlife caller. To this date, we are still the only
company in this industry that can make that claim.
1999-Developed a new, compact, very high quality solid state digital wildlife caller.
2002-New
Sony and Tascam digital dat recorders were purchased along with new Sennheiser MKH
series
microphones.
2003-Started
to create wildlife dvd's for the purpose of creating high quality wildlife
tutorials. Our equipment includes Miller tripods, a Panasonic DVCPRO 50 camera,
and as of this year a DVCPRO HD camera.
2004-We
purchased Sound Devices 24 bit resolution solid state recorders and mixers to be
used with Sennheiser series
MKH microphones and Lectrosonic 400 series digital hybrid wireless.
2006-Developed a very compact solid state remote controlled wildlife caller
consisting of only a speaker and transmitter.
2008-Designed
and developed new micro size audio hardware to be used as our embedded audio
player. Designed and developed a new long range transmitter. Both units utilize
new arm 32bit processors which provide opportunities for endless software
implementations.
2009-Purchased
a digital 35mm cinema camera that shoots 14 bit, 6k raw pictures at frame rates
up to 225fps. With this camera, we intend to film and create a
new series of spectacular high definition wildlife tutorials starting in 2010.
2009-Designed
a ground
breaking new wildlife caller. The new wildlife caller is available in 2
models. The MA-15 and the MA-21. Both new models produce the best
sound quality and the most volume in this industry.
We are the only company in North America to
digitally record (studio grade) almost every mammal and bird in North America.
None of our field recordings are digitally manipulated or creatively edited. The
sound you hear coming out of the speaker of our wildlife caller is exactly the
way the animal produced that sound. This is one of the reasons that our wildlife
caller will consistently call more wildlife than any other wildlife caller you
can buy. Thru our field experiences, we have learned more about wildlife communication than any company
or organization in this field.
Every year we spend 5 months in the field filming and researching animal behavior. With
our knowledge of wildlife vocalizations, digital electronics and experience gained thru field
and laboratory research, our customers receive the most credible wildlife calling advice
available in
North America. It's easy to see why our customers consistently call more
wildlife using our knowledge base of wildlife behavior along with our wildlife
sound library and state of the art wildlife caller.
